It was a privilege to work on unravelling the mechanics of a decade of institute building and capturing the unique story of AMS Institute. Blossity revisited the bid book developed for the original design competition by the City of Amsterdam, analysed current practices and conducted deep dives with key stakeholders of AMS Institute. Thank you to everyone who shared their valuable insights!

AMS Institute demonstrates how cities can work with communities in living labs to address complex urban challenges and develop distinct talent for sustainable economic growth. It also illustrates how forging true, trusted partnerships with educational institutions leads to more innovative ways of working within and across government, based on scientific rigour and independent of extractive consulting models.
